Nungwi faces west, which makes it one of the few places in Zanzibar where the sun sets straight into the sea. We raise the traditional lateen sail, switch off the engine and let the wind carry ANELIS along the coast while the sky turns gold. $15 per person, or $20 with food and drinks on board.

Questions
How much is the sunset cruise in Nungwi?
$15 per person for the cruise, or $20 per person with food and drinks included. Want the boat only for your group? A private party starts at $200.
Is it a real sailing dhow or a motor boat?
Both. ANELIS is a traditional wooden dhow with a lateen sail and a Yamaha outboard, so we sail when there is wind and never get stuck when there is none.
Can we have the boat just for us?
Yes. Book a private party: the whole boat $200 for 2.5 hours, and from about ten people it costs the same as paying per seat.
